Neal is an NH&MRC Industry Fellow working on the non-receptor protein tyrosine kinases. In the past he has worked on such systems as E. coli DnaB helicase, the pyrimidine pathway enzyme dihydroorotase, and the mechanism of quinone cofactor TPQ biogenesis in the copper amine oxidases
